Technical Sales Representative
Territory - North Carolina

 

Experience: Some Sales Background; preferably but not required in outside sales

Job Duties: Technical Sales of Helena’s products into a Laboratory/Hospital setting.  Interfacing with Laboratories, Physicians and Purchasing departments are critical aspect of the position.  This position requirements include presentation of scientific material, assisting to solve technical issues, demonstration of Helena’s products, making financial presentations and training of lab personnel.

 
Education / Training: College level Biology and/or Chemistry with Laboratory experience; preference given to Medical Technologist

Comments: Must have valid driver’s license, insurable, must be capable of meeting credentialing requirements of hospitals, must be capable of loading and moving Helena’s equipment from car to hospital

Customer Service Technicians
Hours: To be discussed

 

Opening: October 15, 2019

Experience: Military experience or a minimum of two years field experience in electronics, bio-medical or similar equipment repair.  Must know how to use multi-meters, temperature meters and torque wrenches.

General Job Description Summary: Reports to and receives assignments, instructions and direction from Customer Service Supervisor and Manager. Installs and/or maintains equipment at Helena facility, responds to customers’ request to troubleshoot and repair laboratory equipment as needed, document repairs on paper or by electronic media, complete work orders, travel is required as needed. Performs various clean-up and housekeeping duties.  Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE.  Performs various other duties and activities as directed by the Supervisor and/or Manager.  Must meet all elements of the Helena Standards Pertaining to All Jobs, Job Classification Standards – Job Requirements Matrix and General Job Requirements.

Education / Training: At least an AA Degree in Electronics or equivalency work in the field or bench tech electronic work, with some understanding with PLC, digital motor control and some networking understanding.

Warehouseperson – Consumables
Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
$12.56/hour

Experience: Forklift, data entry, warehouse, receiving and computer entry preferred.

General Job Description Summary: Reports to and receives assignments, instructions and direction from Consumable Warehouse Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Material Logistics Manager and/or Production Control Manager. Receives day-to-day guidance in the performance of routine activities from lead personnel, if applicable. Receives materials into plant and processes paperwork. Pulls material from stock for deliveries, unloads trucks, delivers and picks up material within and outside the plant. Drives company vehicle to deliver and pick up materials from the post office, airport or vendors.  Processes and files all paperwork.  Stock and straighten shelves and maintain inventory. Performs various clean-up and housekeeping duties.  Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE.  Performs various other duties and activities as directed by the Supervisor and/or Manager.  Must meet all elements of the Helena Standards Pertaining to All Jobs, Job Classification Standards – Job Requirements Matrix and General Job Requirements.

Education / Training: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must be able to read and write well.

Additional Requirements: Maintain driver’s license and insurability to permit the lawful operation of vehicles to deliver and pick up materials. (Driver’s license will be verified as valid before taking pre-employment basic math test.) Must pass pre-employment basic math test before being interviewed. Must be able to stand on feet all day.

Assistant Facilities Manager

Experience: Must have at least two years supervisory experience.  

General Job Description Summary:   Hands on involvement of automated production equipment repair.  Prefer experience with controllers, encoders, blue prints and schematics.  Experience with lyophilize, tri-philizer, corona treaters, centrifuges, XY printers, packaging machines, mechanical knowledge and refrigeration helpful. Must have good communication and writing skills.  Assist manager with supervision of maintenance and MP2 departments.  Must meet all elements of the Helena Standards Pertaining to All Jobs, Job Classification Standards – Job Requirements Matrix and General Job Requirements.

Education / Training:  Must have training with repair of automated production equipment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Additional Requirements: Subject to call out on nights and weekends.
