Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

General Job Description Summary: Reports to and receives assignments, instructions and direction from the Documentation Control Manager.  Responsible for scanning, filing and logging Device History Records (DHR). Annually pulls and boxes device history records and verifies all files are filed and correct.  Performs various clean-up and housekeeping duties.  Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE. Performs various other duties and activities as directed by the Supervisor and/or Manager. Must meet all elements of the Helena General Job Standards Pertaining to All Jobs, Job Classification Standards – Job Requirements Matrix and General Job Requirements. 

Education / Training: High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Junior Electrical Designer Engineer

Experience: Use of PCB design utilities, Use of compiler utilities, Electronic Systems Design Preferred, Robotic Systems Control Preferred

General Job Description Summary: Reports to and receives assignments, instructions and direction from the Director of Engineering. The Junior Electrical Designer within the Helena Engineering department focuses on developing into a full team member capable of carrying out the tasks of an Electrical Engineer.  The Junior Electrical Designer is mentored and trained in the performance of their duties.  As the Junior Electrical Designer advances in ability they become increasingly responsible for carrying out the duties of the Engineering Department, including project management, design, research, prototyping, documentation and estimating. Performs various clean-up and housekeeping duties.  It is expected that the individual will remain in this position for 1-3 years before advancing to an Electrical Engineer.  Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE.  Performs various other duties and activities as directed by the Supervisor and/or Manager.  Must meet all elements of the Helena Standards Pertaining to All Jobs, Job Classification Standards – Job Requirements Matrix and General Job Requirements.

Education / Training: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering

Experience: Use of the utilities, compilers, debuggers, linkers, etc., employed by the department. This may be waived for proficiency in equivalent utilities. Experience in the area(s) of specialty. Experience in the software language(s) (C++, C#) used in the development of Helena software.  Some data basing (SQL, PostgreSQL) experience preferred.

The Software Engineer within the Helena Engineering department fulfills the need of Software Expertise in Helena’s pursuit to create and provide cutting edge devices and technology in the Medical Industry.  The Software Engineer typically specializes in a unique area of software development thereby, with the other Software Engineers, providing Helena a more capable team.  The Software Engineer is responsible for carrying out the duties of the Engineering Department, including project management, design, research, prototyping, documentation and estimating. Technical Sales Representative
Territory - New York

 

Experience: Some Sales Background; preferably but not required in outside sales

Job Duties: Technical Sales of Helena’s products into a Laboratory/Hospital setting.  Interfacing with Laboratories, Physicians and Purchasing departments are critical aspect of the position.  This position requirements include presentation of scientific material, assisting to solve technical issues, demonstration of Helena’s products, making financial presentations and training of lab personnel.

 
Education / Training: College level Biology and/or Chemistry with Laboratory experience; preference given to Medical Technologist

Comments: Must have valid driver’s license, insurable, must be capable of meeting credentialing requirements of hospitals, must be capable of loading and moving Helena’s equipment from car to hospital
