Technical Sales Representative
Territory - North Carolina

 

Experience: Some Sales Background; preferably but not required in outside sales

Job Duties: Technical Sales of Helena’s products into a Laboratory/Hospital setting.  Interfacing with Laboratories, Physicians and Purchasing departments are critical aspect of the position.  This position requirements include presentation of scientific material, assisting to solve technical issues, demonstration of Helena’s products, making financial presentations and training of lab personnel.

 
Education / Training: College level Biology and/or Chemistry with Laboratory experience; preference given to Medical Technologist

Comments: Must have valid driver’s license, insurable, must be capable of meeting credentialing requirements of hospitals, must be capable of loading and moving Helena’s equipment from car to hospital

Experience: Forklift, data entry, warehouse, receiving and computer entry preferred.

General Job Description Summary:   Reports to and receives assignments, instructions and direction from the Electronic Stockroom and Receiving Supervisor or Manager.  Processes receipts of incoming electronic merchandise and merchandise return authorizations, ships and receives finished goods, pulls materials from stock using Pick Lists, Warehouse Parts Request, and Shipping Orders, performs cycle counts, enters information into computer database and performs various clean-up and housekeeping duties.  Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE.  Performs various other duties and activities as directed by the Supervisor and/or Manager.  Must meet all elements of the Helena Standards Pertaining to All Jobs, Job Classification Standards – Job Requirements Matrix and General Job Requirements.  

Education / Training: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must be able to read and write well.

Additional Requirements: Must maintain driver’s license and insurability to permit the lawful operation of vehicles to deliver and pick up materials. (Driver’s license will be verified as valid before taking pre-employment basic math test.) Must pass pre-employment basic math test before being interviewed. Must be able to stand on feet all day.

Experience: Must have at least two years supervisory experience.  

General Job Description Summary:   Hands on involvement of automated production equipment repair.  Prefer experience with controllers, encoders, blue prints and schematics.  Experience with lyophilize, tri-philizer, corona treaters, centrifuges, XY printers, packaging machines, mechanical knowledge and refrigeration helpful. Must have good communication and writing skills.  Assist manager with supervision of maintenance and MP2 departments.  Must meet all elements of the Helena Standards Pertaining to All Jobs, Job Classification Standards – Job Requirements Matrix and General Job Requirements.

Education / Training: Must have training with repair of automated production equipment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Additional Requirements: Subject to call out on nights and weekends.

General Job Description Summary: Reports to and receives assignments, instructions and direction from quality Control Supervisor and/or Quality Control Manager. Performs testing utilizing standard/specialized equipment. Follow established protocols designed for testing. Performs various clean-up and housekeeping duties.  Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE.  Performs various other duties and activities as directed by the Supervisor and/or Manager.  Must meet all elements of the Helena Standards Pertaining to All Jobs, Job Classification Standards – Job Requirements Matrix and General Job Requirements.  

Education / Training: 2 Years College in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or Medical Lab Assistant

Additional Requirements: Must pass pre-employment basic math calculations and attention to detail tests before being interviewed.

Software Engineer

General Job Description Summary:    Reports to and receives assignments, instructions and direction from the Director of Engineering. The Software Engineer within the Helena Engineering department fulfills the need of Software Expertise in Helena’s pursuit to create and provide cutting edge devices and technology in the Medical Industry.  The Software Engineer typically specializes in a unique area of software development thereby, with the other Software Engineers, providing Helena a more capable team.  The Software Engineer is responsible for carrying out the duties of the Engineering Department, including project management, design, research, prototyping, documentation and estimating. Performs various clean-up and housekeeping duties.  Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE.  Performs various other duties and activities as directed by the Supervisor and/or Manager.  Must meet all elements of the Helena Standards Pertaining to All Jobs, Job Classification Standards –
