Design Draftsperson – R&D Electronics

General Job Description Summary: Reports to and receives assignments, instructions and direction from the Engineering Support Manager. Receives day-today guidance of routine drafting activities from the Lead Draftsperson and/or Engineering Support Manager. Produces drawings too adequately and accurately convey the ideas of Design and Manufacturing Engineers to production and outside vendors via technical and detailed drawings such as; sheet metal, machine, assembly, schematics silkscreen and PCB artwork. Performs various other duties and activities as directed by the Engineering Support Manager. Must meet all elements of the Helena Standards Pertaining to All Jobs, Job Classification Standards – Job Requirements Matrix and General Job Requirements.

Experience: Electronic Instrumentation Assembly processes, CAD systems, Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical Designs; sheet metal, machined and wiring components.

Education / Training: AA Degree in Computer Drafting or related field is required. Proficiency with a brand of 3-D modeling drafting software. Familiarity with Solid Edge and Altium is a plus.

Test Required: Yes; At the time of interview, applicant will be expected to demonstrate an ability to perform tasks in drafting software.

HVAC / Electrical Maintenance Technician

Monday - Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Opening Date: July 26, 2021

General Job Description Summary: Reports to and receives assignments, instructions and directions from Plant Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor. Performs preventative maintenance, repairs and replacement on all plant HVAC systems. Performs basic electrical troubleshooting and repair on single and three-phrase equipment up to 240 VAC. Subject to call-out and on-call nights and weekends. Performs various clean-up and housekeeping duties. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE. Performs various other duties and activities as directed by Plant Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor. Must meet all elements of the Helena Standards Pertaining to All Jobs, Job Classification Standards – Job Requirements Matrix and General Job Requirements.

Experience: Three (3) Years HVAC preferred and Two (2) Years Verifiable Electrical Experience

Education / Training: Associate Degree in HVAC or HVAC Certificate and Two (2) years of on the job experience.

Equipment Maintenance Technician

Field Service Representative - Territory (Kansas City)

Job Duties: Field Service Representative. Repair of Helena Laboratories bio-medical equipment in Hospital Laboratories to Doctors office. Your will be supplied with test equipment, parts and vehicle along with a corporate card. This will require car travel overnight some air travel. Territory covers parts of Minnesota, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri.

Experience: Prior Field service work or Electronics work with a minimum of two (2) years working with electronics either as a Bench Technician or as Bio-Medical work.

Education / Training: Minimum of two (2) years field equivalency work as a Bio-Medical Representative and/or a Minimum AA degree in Electronics Engineering. Know how use of multi - meters, temperature meters, torque wrenches

Comments: Salary depend on experience; pays bonuses and commissions

QA Software Tester – Electronics QA

General Job Description Summary: Reports to and receives assignments, instructions and direction from the Electronic Quality Assurance Supervisor and/or Manager. Responsible for aiding in requirements elicitation. Assist to create, edit, maintain and execute verification and validation protocols. Assist software developers in debugging and troubleshooting problems received from customers. Performs various clean-up and housekeeping duties. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE. QA entrance test required. Performs various other duties and activities as directed by the Supervisor and/or Manager.

Experience: Experience with Automated Software Testing tools, SQL Database, C++, C#, Python and JavaScript

Education / Training: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor’s degree, preferred. Computer Science or Software Engineer or related field.

Technical Sales Representative - Territory (New York)

Job Duties: Technical Sales of Helena’s products into a Laboratory/Hospital setting. Interfacing with Laboratories, Physicians and Purchasing departments are critical aspect of the position. This position requirements include presentation of scientific material, assisting to solve technical issues, demonstration of Helena’s products, making financial presentations and training of lab personnel.

Experience: Some Sales Background; preferably but not required in outside sales

Education / Training: College level Biology and/or Chemistry with Laboratory experience; preference given to Medical Technologist

Comments: Must have valid driver’s license, insurable, must be capable of meeting credentialing requirements of hospitals, must be capable of loading and moving Helena’s equipment from car to hospital
