Experience: Laboratory experience preferred.

General Job Description: Reports to and receives assignments, instructions and direction from quality Control Supervisor and/or Quality Control Manager. Performs testing utilizing standard/specialized equipment. Follow established protocols designed for testing. Performs various clean-up and housekeeping duties. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE. Performs various other duties and activities as directed by the Supervisor and/or Manager. Must meet all elements of the Helena Standards Pertaining to All Jobs, Job Classification Standards – Job Requirements Matrix and General Job Requirements.

Education / Training: Two years college in Medical Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Medical Lab Assistant or related field.

Experience: Sales experience preferred but not required.

General Job Description: Reports to and receives assignments, instructions and direction from the General Manager of Sales, National Sales Manager and/or Regional Sales Manager.  Responsible for capital equipment sales, consumable sales and product support for all products manufactured and distributed by Helena Laboratories. Duties include product demonstration, financial demonstration, installation and operator training. Customer support to include assisting customers with technical issues and general account maintenance. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE. Performs various other duties and activities as directed by the Manager. Must meet all elements of the Helena Standards Pertaining to All Jobs, Job Classification Standards – Job Requirements Matrix and General Job Requirements.

Education / Training: Associates Degree required at minimum, preferably in one of the Life Sciences. Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician also preferred but not required.

Additional Requirements: Must have valid driver’s license, be insurable, capable of meeting credentialing requirements and ability to load and move Helena’s equipment from car to facility.
