Research Associate - Assay

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Experience: Laboratory experience from a medical or biological lab setting preferred.
General Job Description Summary: Reports to and receives assignments, instructions and direction from the Assay Supervisor and/or Quality Control Manager. Must be able to work both as part of a team and alone. Will run various quantitative clinical chemistry and hemostasis lab tests such as electrophoresis, spectrophotometry and coagulation tests on pre-production raw materials, production in-process samples, and finished products. Performs testing utilizing standard/specialized equipment. Follow established protocols designed for testing. Performs various clean-up and housekeeping duties. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE. Performs various other duties and activities as directed by the Supervisor and/or Manager. Must meet all elements of the Helena Standards Pertaining to All Jobs, Job Classification Standards – Job Requirements Matrix and General Job Requirements.
Education / Training: MT, MLT, Biology, or other lab-related science field preferred. Will consider a minimum of 2 years of college with experience working in a lab with knowledge of proper laboratory techniques.

Electronics Bench Technician (2 Positions)
Opening Date: January 30, 2025

Hourly Rate: $21.56
Work Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:00 pm - 5:30 am
Experience: Basic and advanced electronics, computer technology, instrumentation, computer robotics or military equivalent.
General Job Description Summary: Reports to and receives assignments, instructions and direction from the Electronic Supervisor and/or Manager. Follows detailed written instructions, procedures and schematics to test, calibrate and repair various types of medical diagnostic equipment and subassemblies. Maintains records. Performs various clean-up and housekeeping duties. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE. Must pass general math test. Performs various other duties and activities as directed by the Supervisor and/or Manager. Must meet all elements of the Helena General Job Standards Pertaining to All Jobs, Job Classification Standards – Job Requirements Matrix and General Job Requirements.
Education / Training: Associate degree in Electronics with solid state, PLC, Digital Motor Control or Military experience preferred. Computer literate.

Field Service Technician - Carolina's Territory

Experience: Military experience or a minimum of two years field experience in electronics, bio-medical or similar equipment repair. Must know how to use multi-meters, temperature meters and torque wrenches. Must be proficient in MS Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel.
General Job Description Summary: Install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair automated laboratory equipment at customer's facilities. Document repairs on paper or by electronic media and complete service work orders. Maintain parts inventory for equipment in the field. Maintain company vehicle and travel as needed. Report to and receive assignments, instruction and direction from the Customer Service Supervisor and Manager. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE. Performs various other duties and activities as directed by the Supervisor and/or Manager. Must meet all elements of the Helena Standards Pertaining to All Jobs, Job Classification Standards – Job Requirements Matrix and General Job Requirements.
Education / Training: An AA Degree or Certificate in Electronics or similar field of study, or Military Training, or equivalency work in the field or bench technician electronic work, with some understanding with PLC, digital motor control and networking understanding.
Other Requirements: Good driving record with no DUI's and a good credit history and credit score. This position provides a company car and corporate credit card.
